Not quite an update to the site, I couldn't let this day slip by without some recognition.
On this day in 1916, the largest airship fleet ever assembled set to the skies with their sights on one target: London.
A total of 16 massive rigid airships launched that afternoon, 12 navy Zeppelins and 4 army Schutte-Lanz airships.
Raise a glass and toast those who have lost their lives to the skies.
